Project:

At Summit Osteopathy, we strive to provide opportunities for growth and learning in several facets of professional practice. It is our goal to foster the development of those new to our profession, to assist in building confidence and passion for their osteopathic practice.

Who:

Practice Owner/Manager: Georgia Ellis

Education Coordinator: Madeleine Goodman

Objectives:

  • To direct a mentoring program designed to introduce key concepts in order of relevance, importance and ability to implement for new graduate osteopaths.

  • Establish framework to ensure the structure and resources can be used in the future, built upon and revisited as required.

  • ie) If either Madeleine or Georgia were to be hit by a bus in 2023, a senior osteopath could easily pick up and take over the role as mentor by using the framework/resources to continue the mentoring program without interruption.

  • Provide CPD summaries for staff detailing objectives, key reflection and relevancy
