Please answer the following survey questions to help with the completion of the Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) course. The time taken to complete this survey is greatly appreciated.
My name is Kayla Ellis, and I am conducting a research project entitled “Osteopaths’ Perceptions and Experiences on the Management of Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome: A Qualitative Study”, as part of Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. Please forward this email onto all osteopathic practitioners with a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience within your clinic.

I have attached an “Information to participants involved in research” and “Consent form for participants involved in research” document. Please electronically sign and date the consent form and email the document back to me. If you have any further questions, please contact via email.

My name is A/Prof Amie Steel and I am an academic at ARCCIM, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). My colleagues are Dr Hope Foley and Distinguished Prof Jon Adams, also from ARCCIM, UTS, and A/Prof Deborah Debono from the Faculty of Health, UTS.
We are conducting research about the perspectives of osteopaths regarding preventive health, and how osteopaths share information with patients about health promotion and health behaviours.
We would welcome your assistance with this research, which will involve completing an online survey and should take no more than 15-25 minutes of your time. We have asked you to participate because you are a member of an osteopathic professional association, and we are seeking to survey registered osteopaths in active clinical practice.
This project has been funded by Osteopathy Australia. A/Prof Amie Steel is also funded by an Australian Research Council Future Fellowship (grant #FT220100610).
You are under no obligation to participate in this research.

PROMS Study
From Shamona at OA
I'm running some interviews to gather information on the use of PROMs in osteopathic practice. I was hoping you would take part and possibly convince a couple of osteos from your clinic to take part as well. The interview is one-on-one, can be done on a day and time that suits you, and will take approx 40-60min max. An info sheet is attached. Let me know if you're interested in participating
